Given his record, does anyone seriously believe that a second-term Trump would have engineered the fiasco in Afghanistan that Biden gave us?
Incompetent? Or worse?
Are we being asked to believe that no one in the administration could foresee that surrendering control of Afghanistan to the Taliban prior to getting our own citizens safely out could have profound negative political consequences for the president and, by extension, Democrats?
Things look bad but don’t lose heart.
The United States is a vast country filled with millions and millions of good people. We will turn this around.
