It was a success. So the Left hates it.

YOU TELL ME TEXAS w/Paul GleiserIt was a success. So the Left hates it.

If bad people denounce you, chances are you’re doing something right. With that in mind, let’s break down Donald Trump’s weekend defenestration of Nicolás Maduro – the corrupt, murderous, and now former president of the failed state of Venezuela.

In an operation that had been planned for months, U.S. Army Delta Force commandos fell out of the sky in Caracas, penetrated the fortress home of Maduro, grabbed that murderous thug and his complicit wife, and then brought them to New York City to face justice.

The operation was a master class in military logistics and multi-unit interoperability. More than 150 aircraft, including F-22s, F-35s, B-1 bombers and drones, together with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment providing helicopter insertion, all worked together in a mission dubbed, “Operation Absolute Resolve.”

The dark-of-the-night mission was carried out with surgical precision and with only a couple of minor U.S. casualties. If your name happens to be Vladimir Putin or Xi Jingping, it was an eye-opening demonstration of American military prowess, organization, technical superiority, and leadership.

The stunning success of the operation has the American Left, along with the leaders of the worst countries on the planet, in a tizzy. Cuba, Iran, China, Russia, Mexico, and Columbia are all incensed and are busy writing strongly worded letters to the United Nations.

The likes of Bernie Sanders, Hakeem Jeffries, AOC and Elizabeth Warren are tripping over their own feet to get in front of a camera to call Donald Trump a war criminal or Hitler or something. Joining them in hyperventilating outrage is the legacy media together with the rest of the Trump hating, self-loathing Left.

What’s giving our homegrown lefties the vapors is the fact that American strength offends their sensibilities. Most of the people in the heartland are filled with pride when American military forces succeed in a bold operation. But American military success is too alpha male macho for our coastal liberal elites. Every moment spent basking in the glow of clear, unmistakable success in ridding the world of a truly bad guy is time not spent in introspective self-flagellation over slavery and land appropriation and all the rest of American original sin and irredeemable flaws as now taught in our top universities.

It’s much more straightforward for the Iran, China, Russia, et.al. crowd. They will engage in any propaganda effort they can think of to delegitimize and politically neutralize a military force that they understand could fall out of the sky on them if they go too far in their malign strategic ambitions. It’s not lost on Xi Jinping that the air defense systems that he provided to Venezuela proved utterly useless when the U.S. Army’s Delta Force came calling. Give the despots credit. Their objections are at least rational.

Not so for the crazy loon lefties that now dominate our beloved Democratic Party. It’s not at all rational for them. It’s pure emotion. In their latte and Chardonnay-soaked brains they just hate the very idea of the United States as the world’s alpha dog.

My favorite aspect to this is watching Chuck Schumer’s attempts to reconcile his past diatribes to current events while somehow not coming across as a clown. He doesn’t quite have the bandwidth and it’s hilarious.

Makes most of us extremely proud to see this take down of these animals. An amazing operation under extremely difficult circumstances that we pull off flawlessly. Way beyond the “WOW” factor. My heart warms and my smile is wide to know our military is back to the status they deserve to be; The Best!
Afterwards, we the American People, need a deep, deep dive in the Democrat’s financials. Bring back Elon and DOGE, sic them on this task. How many past and present Democrats are receiving payments from these Third World Despots, Chinese, Russians, Ukrainians, and the Middle East. We need a complete clean-up on all the Congressional aisles.

The democratic party today consists of a bunch of idiots that hate everything that made this nation the one so many people give all they have to get here. And when they get here they become Democrats! But you can’t lie to the people that have actually lived under a dictator like Maduro or Castro. New York City will discover they have been lied to. It seems strange to me that the people most upset about Maduro’s ouster are not Venezuelan, but American! Chuck Schumer is hilarious any time he speaks these days. TDS is killing him and many others fighting to lead the Democrats right now.

On our first trip to China, my family and I were in Wuxi. I was a university professor at the time and asked our tour guide about Quin Xuesen (former MIT professor who built China’s missile system). Our tour guide immediately left to call Beijing to see if I would be arrested. Thank God we have freedoms to agree or disagree about topics. My appreciation to Mr. Gleiser for the opportunities to express our thoughts. In many places, expressing thoughts would mean many years in prison.

    Restoring Venezuela
The removal by American power of communist narco-thug Nicolas Maduro represents the first step in restoring freedom and the capitalist market economy to Venezuela. A full restoration will likely come sooner than later if the following facts and steps are understood and taken by Pres. Trump and those who advise him, as I am now venturing to urge.

    ● Maduro’s underlings, Acting-President Delcy Rodriguez and Diosdado Cabello, the senior military leader, are every bit as corrupt as Maduro. They and their underlings, many with blood on their hands, need to move on.
    ● The communists in Venezuela have lost their cash cows. The U.S. Navy is blowing up their drug boats. And the United States now controls Venezuelan oil revenue.
    ● Without cash flow the narco-commies are cash starved—no money to further stuff their pockets, no money to pay underlings, no money to fund corruption, no money to buy weapons to outgun peacekeepers, and ultimately no money to subvert the legitimate government authority.
    ● Under applied pressure, the narco-commies will escape to whatever country will have them, along with the money they’ve stolen from the Venezuelan people. Good riddance.
    ● The United States will control, as long as necessary, Venezuelan oil flow and sales, the income thus derived to be dispersed as follows:
o To the individual Venezuelan citizen.
o To the government authority for proper maintenance of the nation.
o To American oil companies who make this prosperity possible through their investments in Venezuela.
o To the United States government, or any other friendly government partners, who make possible Venezuela’s escape from communism and the recovery of its capitalist heritage.
    ● Neutering and disarming the thugs who now run Venezuela represents a tall order. It will be expensive. It is only right that any who invest in making this change possible deserve compensation.
    ● Those best qualified to manage the transition are the American military and private business, all under the watchful eyes of both the Venezuelan people and the American people.
    ● Those least qualified to manage the transition are our government bureaucrats, sticky-fingered politicians, and equally sticky-fingered NGOs.
    ● At any appropriate point in the transition where free and fair elections are possible, the people of Venezuela should decide when they again assume full sovereignty.
    ● Venezuela and the United States would do well to welcome peacekeepers and observers from respected friendly nations during the transition.
    ● At one time Venezuela was the richest nation in South America. It can be again.
    ● Venezuela’s vast oil reserves alone are enough to fund the nation’s return to greatness, if only graft, corruption, and communism can be kept at bay.
    ● In the end, the future of Venezuela will be up to its people.

A last further observation for those who view capitalism in a darker light than communism. I ask this: Who plundered Venezuela’s vast oil reserve more? American oil companies? Or the communist leaders and generals who became multimillionaires even as the average Venezuelan fell into grinding poverty?

Whatever the future may hold, it will be difficult for anyone to manage a worse job in Venezuela than Nicolas Maduro’s communist cronies.
