Condi shows the Left for who they really are.

Psychological projection (usually simply called ‘projection’) is a term used to describe the phenomenon of accusing others of the negative behavior in which oneself is actually engaging. Projection is the way that people who are doing bad things find a way to live with themselves. A common example is the cheating husband who accuses his wife of having an affair. Very nearly all of us from time to time, as the stresses of life become hard to manage, engage in mild forms of projection.

But a very malignant form of projection has taken hold in our political discourse. And it comes predominantly from the extreme Left. Examples abound.

Leftists who were steadfastly silent about the riots that killed as many as three dozen people and did billions of dollars of damage – including the destruction of countless minority-owned businesses – in cities from Portland to Seattle to Chicago loudly condemned the January 6 Capitol Hill riot.

A more recent example of liberal projection comes from last week’s appearance by former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice on the ABC television program, “The View.” Speaking on the subject of critical race theory, Ms. Rice said:

I grew up in segregated Birmingham, Alabama. I went to segregated schools until we moved to Denver. My parents never thought I was going to grow up in a world without prejudice, but they also told me that’s somebody else’s problem – not yours. You’re going to overcome it and you’re going to be anything you want to be and that’s the message I think we ought to be sending to kids.”

For that uplifting statement, Ms. Rice was branded as a “solider for white supremacy” by former MSNBC host Taure Neblett. In Neblett’s world, all white people bear guilt for what their great-great grandparents did and  thus all white people are bad and should be scorned for the simple reason that they’re white. By extension, he believes that all black people are forever doomed to victimhood by the inescapable racism of white people.

Condoleeza Rice’s parents believed otherwise. She made that case with extreme eloquence during her keynote address at the 2012 Republican National Convention.

A little girl grows up in Jim Crow Birmingham, the segregated city of the south where her parents can’t take her to a movie theater or a restaurant. But they have her absolutely convinced that even if she can’t have a hamburger at the Woolworth’s lunch counter she could be President of the United States if she wanted to be and she becomes the Secretary of State.”

Condoleeza Rice’s story should be held up as an example to every school-aged child – black, white or brown. Emulation of her example is the surest path to racial harmony in America.

But Neblett is blinded by hatred. Hating someone because of his or her race is the very definition of racism yet that’s exactly what he advocates. Neblett is the type of race hustler we should have long ago outgrown.

And he is the very embodiment of liberal projection.

The left has been doing a pretty good job of exposing their true ideas themselves lately. They no longer even try to hide their disdain for conservatives. They openly call for censorship or cancelation of anyone who questions them. They believe we are too stupid to figure out we are being fed a load of crap. But the DOJ overstepped their boundaries in a critical manner recently calling for investigation of school board meetings. That and the lockdowns have brought this issue to the grassroots level and parents are having none of it. The Virginia governor election may be a turning point for the country. We have had enough. Too many people have made a living keeping racism alive. It is time to stop the insanity.

Rice most definitely is well accomplished and deserves credit as anyone should for achievements etc she has made. It is all tarnished by her apparent willingness ( we all have choices ) to take part or go along with an administration that lied on a grand scale to send our young men and women to war under the guiz of protection from terrorism and protection of our freedoms. She’s inttitled to her opinion as all are,but who cares what she thinks about anything, just my opinion.

Please verify the spelling of Mr. Neblett’s first name. Also, please keep in mind that some people’s statements do not merit serious consideration. Mr. Neblett and I should be somewhere on that “not worthy” list, but then, I never worked for MSNBC.

Progressives/Projectionists are the offspring of Saul Alinsky, who gave birth to this new version of Socialism/Communism. As I see it, the point of this essay is to invite discussion about the use of psychological projection to immunize politicians from their schemes to divide Americans. This projection strategy has been an effective tool for political persuasion, which has given the Democratic Party 90% + of the Black vote for the last 60 years. By the treatment of Condoleeza Rice, and numerous other Black conservatives, it is becoming clear to Black voters that the Democratic Party is just another plantation. Since it is essential that these citizens be replaced with more reliable voters, we are witnessing a shameless enticement of future voters through illegal immigration. If Mr. Boone or Mr. Neblett can offer a better explanation of why this administration is encouraging such an unlawful invasion into our country, please advise me and this forum, and please do not worry about the spelling of a forename.

Politicians are using projection , but primarily the Democrats ? If I understand correctly, really ? Surely now more than ever no one could possibly believe that , ( benefit of dought )regardless of how desperate one wants their team to be right.

        • Ron Eagleman says:

I really wish I could understand your point! By the way, “my team” is the United States of America; regardless of the letter following the politician’s name. If you have not already done so, I would recommend reading “Rules for Radicals” by Saul Alinsky. After you have read it, listen to some of those on “your team” who have praised his strategy to divide our country. A lot of it may sound familiar.

          • Matthew E says:

Again you imply that only the left , liberal , Socialist wannabes are using some sort of division tactics ( Propaganda) etc, so again the ” Point ” is, that’s absurd .Just as implying projection is primarily a left , liberal thing as well, but whatever, I’m just glad I see how full of Sh*% both sides are, even if I think the right is off the deep end.

The Left at the G20 summit today with Sleepy Joe leading the way. Climate Change, Lions, Tigers, and Bears, Oh My!!!!

Isn’t it interesting the USA, all of us who know more about conservation, environmental science, weather (Ah Hurricane Central!!!), and space (I think?) is herald as behind the curve on carbon emissions (Pure BS). Sleepy Joe is touting us as not doing enough; yet India, Mexico, China, all of Africa ((I have been there and seen that ), are producing about 90% of the worlds burning trash, wood, bodies, and God only knows what else polluting the skies and water. BUT The USA has to do more. Only the Left would be so stupid to think this way. As the profit Forrest Gump said, “Stupid is, as Stupid does.”

  6. Matthew+E says:

Knowing more about these sciences, assuming we do, and acting on it for the wellbeing of our citizens health and future are two different things,it’s not about what other countries are doing its what we do for ourselves. Although I don’t know what this has to do with projection but whatever. Unfortunately what we all do do in these matters can have a global negative affect.

    • Michael Reagan says:

You are a funny person Matthew. You do not know what this has to do with “projection”? Ah how about the Left and G-20 Globalist continually bashing the USA for carbon emissions? When we are one of THE cleanest Nations on earth. My point is Africa, India, China, and most third world countries pollute the atmosphere with burning wood, coal, and whatever else they can get their hands on to cook, heat water, and stay warm. Plus in Africa, many burn wood everyday to produce charcoal to sell. Sure they produce charcoal in other poorer countries too for the same reason; to survive. Sum total is a hell of a lot more greenhouse gases floating up than here in the USA. So this Climate Change crapola is exactly that.
