From hell indeed.
I have a book recommendation for you and those on your Christmas list – particularly if those recipients love their country and are concerned about how and by whom it is being led.
The book is by New York Post opinion columnist Miranda Devine. It’s called, “Laptop from Hell: Hunter Biden, Big Tech and the Dirty Secrets the President Tried to Hide.” It’s well-researched, well-written and offers an eye-popping behind-the-scenes look into the Biden political family.
The book’s title derives from a decade’s worth of material found on a laptop computer that Hunter Biden left at a Delaware computer repair shop and then abandoned. Pictures, audio recordings, documents and emails reveal in stark detail that Hunter Biden is a drug-addled, dissolute, spoiled wastrel of a man who nevertheless collected millions of dollars from some of the most frightening men on the planet by peddling access to the very top reaches of the U.S government.
Documents on the laptop reveal that Hunter and his father, Joe – the senator from Delaware and later Vice President of the United States – enjoyed a codependent relationship under which Joe greased the skids for Hunter to get extraordinarily high paying, low-effort jobs (for which Hunter was minimally – if at all qualified), while Hunter, in turn, acted as financial rainmaker to the family by brokering access to the “Big Guy,” – meaning Joe Biden himself.
In one passage in the book Ms. Devine writes,
Photographs of Hunter’s rampant drug use and explicit homemade pornography were all over the laptop. But the real news value lay in the corporate documents, bank transfers, and emails detailing a vast international influence-peddling scheme, sanctioned by the world’s most despotic regimes – and implicating “Honest Joe” Biden himself.”
The book recounts how the New York Post broke the laptop story just three weeks before the 2020 presidential election and how Twitter, Facebook and very nearly the entirety of the mainstream media went in to hyperdrive to quash it. Twitter went so far as to lock the Post’s account for more than two weeks.
Of particular concern are Hunter’s business dealings in China. Hunter was paid millions via business entities of which he was a principal and the entanglements of those entities with the giant Chinese energy company, CEFC. One of the emails on the laptop talks about ten percent of that money going to the “Big Guy.”
There is much more. So much more that fear of being fitted for a tinfoil hat and called a conspiracy theorist notwithstanding, we’re compelled to ask, is the President of the United States in a compromised position relative to the Chinese, our country’s most formidable strategic and economic adversary?
It can’t be said for certain that Joe Biden is dirty from Chinese money. But the revelations of the laptop make that scenario almost irresistibly plausible. Yet despite such plausibility, the media steadfastly resists asking questions.
Cliché as it may be to say, they’d sure as hell be asking if the last names in question were changed from Biden to Trump.
